As always, we have your comfort in mind –

Here’s how we are responding to the State Requirements and Guidance for Covid-19:

Limiting Numbers
To ensure a relaxing and excellent guest experience with peace of mind, we are limiting capacity in June at the inn to a total of 8 guests (rather than 12) providing even more room for every one of our guests to enjoy all aspects of the inn.

Spacious Common Areas, Throughout the Property
Plenty of relaxing seating areas are found on our guest-favorite 80-foot open-air veranda and adjacent 40-foot terrace. There’s enough space for relaxing all day long and even into the evening around the fire pit on fire nights!

Indoor common areas at Timbercliffe Cottage are grand and roomy spaces to start with seating arrangements that allow for recommended distancing while still enjoying other guests’ company, a hallmark of our Inn’s reputation.

We have made hand Sanitizer available in common areas of the property.

While we pride ourselves in all areas of the inn are cleaned to perfection daily, we are making extra effort to ensure the commonly touched items such as doorknobs, tables, chairs,  handrails and upholstered furnishings are disinfected numerous times during the day.

Guest Rooms and Service
Prior to each guest arrival, we deep clean and disinfect each room with EPA approved disinfectants, we throw open the windows for sufficient ventilation and airing of each room to ensure Maine clean air is what you experience.

For an extra level of comfort,  staff will not enter guest rooms during a stay (unless requested). We will happily provide any change of towels you may need.

All of our linens and towels are laundered at high heat and with an EPA approved sanitizing liquid.

Breakfast

Guest choose from a wide variety of breakfast serving areas and seating times offering appropriate spacing:

– Our spacious dining room table offers two morning seating times
– Our popular veranda and terrace breakfast seatings
– An intimate setting for two in the living room by the fire
– In-room breakfasts in any of our suite guests.
Or choose a delicious and handy “picnic pack breakfast”  to take on the go if you want an early start to your day’s adventure.

We continue to update and practice the lists of requirements and guidelines as they become available.

Please let us know if you have other helpful suggestions – we love hearing from our guests!
