Here’s how we are responding to the State Requirements and Guidance for Covid-19:

Limited Guest Count and Spacious Common Areas
While Timbercliffe is a large house, we have just six guest rooms and a maximum of only 12 guests at once, allowing plenty of space for each guest and high level of individual comfort.
Plenty of relaxing seating areas are found on our guest-favorite 80-foot open-air veranda and adjacent 40-foot terrace. There’s enough space for relaxing all day long and even into the evening in the library, grand parlor, or around the fire pit on fire nights!

Indoor common areas at Timbercliffe Cottage are spacious while still enjoying other guests’ company, a hallmark of our Inn’s reputation.

We have made hand Sanitizer available in common areas of the property.

While we pride ourselves in all areas of the inn are cleaned to perfection daily, we are making extra effort to ensure the commonly touched items such as doorknobs, tables, chairs, handrails and upholstered furnishings are disinfected numerous times during the day.

Guest Rooms and Service
Prior to each guest arrival, we deep clean and disinfect each room with EPA approved disinfectants, we throw open the windows for sufficient ventilation and airing of each room to ensure Maine clean air is what you experience.

All of our linens and towels are laundered at high heat and with an EPA approved sanitizing liquid.

Breakfast
Guest choose from a wide variety of breakfast serving areas and seating times offering appropriate spacing:

– Our spacious dining room table offers a choice of morning seating times
– Our popular veranda and terrace allows for al fresco breakfast seating, weather permitting
– In-room breakfasts in any of our suite guests may be offered
Or choose a delicious and handy ” to go breakfast” to take on the go if you want an early start to your day’s adventure.

We continue to update and practice the lists of requirements and guidelines as they become available.
